I manage and direct the MFN Journal, and I’m always open to suggestions and ideas from founders. I’m also a marketing/branding/communications consultant who works with creative businesses, startups, and artists.
Why is this project important to you?
I’ve been interviewing founders, entrepreneurs, and investors for years as part of my work with Lever. They’re all very different, and they all come from different backgrounds, but they all dare to think big. I’m excited to tell more stories about and for people who share that innovative spirit.
What are you hoping to offer founders and entrepreneurs in MA as part of MFN?
I hope to offer lots of great, helpful content, with lots of exchange between MFN and our members about what they want to see covered, highlighted, or explored. We have some great stuff in the works already.
Why do you think supporting entrepreneurs is important for Massachusetts?
There are some powerfully smart people across the Commonwealth! There are people literally working on world-changing and culture-changing ideas right here. That kind of energy and potential is important to retain.
What do you like to do for fun?
I am a textile artist and do a lot of quilting in my spare time. I also love to walk my beautiful senior dog, and amuse my 2-year-old in any way possible. I also love local food, and cooking and eating in general–I had a food column in the Berkshire Eagle for many years.
